Applications

The CFH-type rotary feeders are mainly used for the discharge (dosing) of pellets and powders from silos. They also serve as feeding devices in pneumatic dilute phase conveying systems with a differential pressure up to
3.5 bar (g).

Design characteristics

  • Optimized inlet and outlet cross section for gentle product feeding combined with optimized filling rate
  • Leakage gas nozzle integrated into housing
  • Product temperature range from -10 to +60°C and ambient temperatures from -10 to +40°C for standard design; other ranges according to customer’s requirements
  • Minimum gas leakage volume due to optimized gap design and laterally sealed 12-chamber rotor
  • Fasteners for accessories such as feeding chutes and shut off valves directly at the housing
  • External ball bearings with lifetime lubrication; outlet opening between shaft sealing rings and bearing
  • Possible purge gas connection at side covers
  • Free shaft end of rotor visible for a visual control of rotor speed and sense of rotation
  • Completely closed plastic chain guard
  • EC conformity declaration according to ATEX regulations
    94 / 9 / EC

Capacity

  • Throughput up to 700 m³/h at 100% filling rate according to ATEX regulations
  • Sizes (rotor diameters in mm) 200 / 250 / 320 / 400 / 500 / 630 / 750 / 850
  • Differential pressure up to 3.5 bar (g)

Designs

  • Flange connecting dimensions according to DIN PN 10, ANSI 150 or company standard
  • Special versions, such as other materials, quick cleaning and reduced rotor volume upon request
  • Pressure surge resistant
  • Heating or cooling of housing possible for high temperatures
